Two New Translators in Miami

...the above, great post/poster who always gives us insightful reads.
...ai4i is very diligent and efficient on keeping up and catching, and letting us all know about these translators popping up and what they're up to.
Thanks for the nice words...you are tooooooo kind.
Sorry it took so long for me to reply, but nothing on the dial had changed until today.
As of this morning, WHYI-HD2, the EDM station, is ID'ing as "Revolution 935" from W228BY, Downtown Miami, and possibly from WZFL, Islamarada.
W228BV seems to be silent, but WMIA-HD2, the Bullshət, is on W284CS on 104.7.

Except the 93.5 signals suck where I'm at in Northeast Miami-Dade.

You are correct, W228BV is OK about as far south as Countyline Rd. on the beach and Ives Dairy Rd. inland.
W228BY has a really deep null to the north and is only good to Surfside on the beach, 54th street along Biscayne Blvd. and much of the city of Hialeah to the northwest.
I do not believe that translators can have boosters, but it would be interesting to see both loosen their mutual protections and synchronize their audio, RF carriers, stereo pilots, and RBDS data streams.

The next translator to pop up on Radio-Locator, but not yet on the air, is W263CJ, a transplanted "AM revitalization" station from Immokalee with a CP to broadcast WAVS, Davie (1170) from channel four and six's tower.
They will be on channel 300 and send all their signal east and west with deep nulls toward WMIV-LPFM in downtown Miami and WEAT-FM in West Palm Beach.

When will they stop?
The fourth CP on One Biscayne is for W298AM, translating WZTU-HD2 (Reach-FM).
Incredibly close in frequency to WRMF, it will be just one notch down on channel 249 and directional to the south and west but not southwest.
WRMF's 60dbu curve skirts just down as far south as nw/ne 71st street, Miami, and W298AM's will go as far north as 54th St, Hialeah Dr..
