CCA 1kw Transmitter on 1490. What is it worth. Where do you go on the net to find value for used gear? Any ideas? Thanks! PS Non-engineer here. Thanks for any assistance.

Your best bet is to list it on EBAY and see if anyone wants it. Collins, RCA, and Western Electrics are the AM transmitters to have. CCA's, CSI's, Harris, and some Continentals are just too much trouble to convert. As I recall in a CCA you can't see teh tubes glow, the whole purpose of converting them is for the sex appeal of the tubes glowing.....Oh and the warm tube sound, but the big thing is watching the tubes glow!
