I am curious about WVNS V102.5. What does this station sound like? I emailed them many months ago and they told me there is no plans to stream the station. I don't ever hear about this station either. Does anyone have a sample MP3 or aircheck?

you don't like....in the car. And if you live in Nashville, the reception is pretty bad and has
a muffled sound. A rimshot-sounding station (however, does come in a lot better than Q-108).
And the satellite feed at night makes them sound cheap and boring! Not the worst station, but
definitely there are better ones.

Q-108 sounds better, "format wise" than V-102.5. I can hear barely Q-108 in Gallatin, but it's got worse since WCVQ moved thier transmitter site to stewart county, almost to Dover. Q-108 play is a real "Hot AC" station. V-102.5, well I haven't figured out if it's hot ac or bright ac? Help here please!

I think it's "hot" ac mainly because they play the harder songs on the hot ac chart like "Paralyzer" by Finger Eleven (that doesn't belong on hot ac if you ask me...way too hard) and "Thks fr th Mmrs" by Fall Out Boy.
"Bright AC" would probably play more upbeat pop 80s songs like "She Works Hard for the Money" ? I don't know..gonna go look in Wikipedia ... ???
