Well after listening to V99.3, when I was up in Tyler-Longview over the weekend, I can honestly say I can see why SOME people would want to listen to it, but it is definitely not my cup of tea. I still think they could've done better with a mainstream Urban AC. Still looking for Access-1 to take care of that.
What's up with 100.3? What format are they running? I could barely hear it. And what is 103.1 running?
Could not tell much of a difference between "Sunny" and "The Breeze". Both were very enjoyable and better than most AC stations that I hear elsewhere. I think it was brought up on here before, but KFRO-FM's Legal ID is illegal. They are saying KFRO/Gilmer-Longview. It should be KFRO-FM/Gilmer-Longview. KFRO is KFRO-AM 1370, which is licensed to Longview and owned by Access-1.
I had 96X on for a little bit on Monday and I heard liners from "99.7 The Fox" and commercials from some area I'd never heard of. Does anyone know what's up with that? Today they were fine. The music on both 96X and 98 Rocks (KTAL/Shreveport) is predictable. Not too deep on the tracks.
I heard a 96.9, while I was in the Gilmer area, playing some decent country music. Does anyone know what station this is?
