Forgive my ignorance, but shouldn't a society of opinions and information be more forward? I think it's great there's a website we can all tag along and send/receive information about radio. However, when it comes to critique and opinions, I feel there's much more foundation and fortitude behind words when we lay our pride and egos on the table.....hey, this is who I am, and this is how I feel. It's more real that way, nothing to scour, nothing to fear. This is what you call a catch-22....sure, you can boldly come out and say what you think or feel, and noone will judge you in your personal life. But then how can you honestly feel the words you put together mean anything? My name is Jonathan Butler, i'm a fortunate son of Steve Butler. There is obviously some conflict and hard feelings toward Butler Broadcasting. I guess their doing something right over there. A nobody gets no attention. Success brings admirers, as well as haters. I've surpassed the amount of opportunities i've dropped. But my feet are on solid ground now, and i'm trying to keep the ball in my court. I would very much enjoy taking part in broadcasting, and try filling the shoes of my father. I would also like to tie the loose ends that seems to be ground for so many complaints. If you have an honest complaint, that's not personal, express yourself....but you'll be taken much more serious if you include the true reason why your bothered so dearly, as well as who you are. This reminds me of elementary school, where one can tattle on who he does not like anonymously. No results or answers can take place without forwardness.
I'm not trying to feud, just keeping it real. This is a site about radio-info, so lets talk radio....and how we can successfully overcome issues in the area. If you wish to remain anonymous, by all means, keep your character. But when you become a caricture, please don't expect your statements to be taken seriously.
