Here is what I added in Nov after our meeting ..... Further discovery I visited the studios in an office closet (one small desktop computer)in Visalia after calling the station a very nice gentleman Mr.McKenna introduced himself as the Chief Engineer and General Manager while on the tour I discovered a microwave link that I was told that sent the music and signal to a mountain top transmitter I ask him if I could see his public file and licenses for the radio station and microwave link he told me there was no public file and the station license was at the mountain top transmitter site. I then asked him about the microwave license he stated " We have never had one".
I did make this fella aware that I was an Engineer for years in Southern Ca and since moving to Tulare I loved listening to the station and the music, he then told me that the station was for sale, I asked him how could it be for sale when the license has been cancelled according to the FCC documents on Mr Zawilla. He then told me the Administrative Law judge told him he could sell it , when I probed harder i ask him for that Judges name as I was going to call him strangely he couldn't remember his name.
I then called the FCC for further info seems like they are shutting it down.
I did a lot of research on this as I love the music and hate to see this station go away, anyone else that has information on this please chime in

Furthermore today is my meeting with this vern fellow we are meeting in Hanford at his office I will keep you informed of how it goes and what I find out
 
OOOOOOOOOOPS !!! Now we have you VERN. KZPO MOVED from 1830 South Mooney years ago. KZPO is no longer on Mooney.

Please -- if you post something that is NOT true, it could come back to kick you in the butt.

Please retract all of the lies. You could not have visited KZPO in 2017. KZPO moved years ago. KZPO has NOT had an office on Mooney for at least TWO YEARS.

First of All this is Albert, I met you on Mooney I am thru with you hatred and lies.. I was trying to be nice and help you with KZPO but I cannot stand a liar!! Don't bother me going forward if you are an SBE Member you can say hi at the next meeting as I plan to attend. As for vern I am meeting with him today I hope he is a honest person. Since it appears that you seem to have a vendetta for him i dont know why i am sure i will hear it from him today then I will post the TRUE facts of what he tells me. I find it interesting how much time you have spent lying to me and others on this forum!!
 
Albert, If you claim that you visited KZPO on MOONEY --- in Nov. of last year - 2017 you need to seek some medical help. KZPO moved to a new office / studio YEARS ago.

The KZPO office was at least 500 SQ Feet. NOT a closet as you have claimed.

I was an Intern at KZPO while attending COS College just down the street. I never
claimed to be a General Manager or offer to sell you KZPO. No one could -- because KZPO had moved the Studio / Office in 2015 to the other side of town.

At 72 - you need more sleep to remember your lies. Please do not attend the SBE meetings because they would all laugh at you -- if you could not know that you never visited KZPO.

Please call KZPO and check to see where the Studio or office has moved to. 559 624-0366.

If I sound miffed -- I am at an old mule that goes around and spreads lies about others he has never met. Please admit your mistake.

You are Mr Gort what you called yourself..an old mule.... Very Interesting day I met with vern today in hanford at his what you called a sandwich shop only to find out he doesn't work there it is a very nice deli and he owns it.. he was very nice and obviously a very successful business man. Going to have some dinner now I need to have some time later to write a book on what he enlightened me on all i must admit he has all the facts and figures and legal fcc papers to back it up but like i said later its going to take me a while to put all of this into a post..
 
Radio Carrer, Albert? Verne? Why dont you go talk to Mr. Smith at KMAK in Orange Cove-- If KZPO goes off air - more likely KKDJv.2 100.3 and 99.7- there ya go! Almost adjacant channels simul-cast just only a preacher on 99.9 in between lol

Mr Gort and others on this thread...I have decided not to take the time to write a book on what I learned and saw when I met up with vern. Personally I felt he was honest genuine and certainly has a passion for Radio, what I have noticed here is it looks like a lot of bullying about this guy from not only you Mr Gort but from several others on the site. He explained to me that he does not do the discussions site as he simply does not have time. He explained that he owns and Electrical Engineering Firm and works all over the United States as well as his passion for Radio. I briefly met his wife she explained that she owns a 501C3 radio Corporation and is very involved in charities and giving back to the community. They seem to be very nice people with several businesses that both vern and his wife are involved in,he made me aware that although Vern is his legal name his friends call him by his nickname chris. It also appears from what I saw and the people that I met are very professional I met their Director of Operations Richard, their Manager Santos, and his executive secretary Ashley they all seem to be very professional and like working there. Vern also mentioned that they have several interns from the High School and College level. I have a whole different feeling after talking and meeting with him and his wife!! I would suggest that rather than bullying him on this radio discussions you call his office and go meet him face to face I think you will agree that he is not what this discussion board says. I did research on finding his number so here it is 415-326-4101.
Mr Gort Even though I have caught you in many lets say tall tales I still love the music of kzpo if I can be of any help please let me know I am open to helping in anyway possible.
 
Sorry to rain on your parade Vern, But 99.7 LPFM is no KKDJ, The KKDJ I Remembered Played all types of rock like NewWave, Album Rock, and etc.etc. etc. like Dean and Don played, not the same 58 songs that 95.7 The Fox and KIOO already are playing, I hear KKDJ?KYAF making Deliveries , the same 2 Fleetwood Mac songs everytime, At home my Cross Bar Ant. At 25 Ft With my Yamaha Stereo, gets signals on almost every FM Channel, in Clovis but not KKDJ, KIOO 99.7 is always on, Much better.

Good Playlist today Verne I like hearing 60s on FM again, not to put down KYNO, which still plays the greatest hits of all time for the 60s and I still listening to it today, It's to bad nobody can lean more towards 80s rock as a alternative (NewWave, Mainstream Rock Hits) not the same standard classic rock hits.

Did Verne actually switchup that dead wornout playlisy? Are you sure you're on 99.7, Ken? I'm hearing a great mix on 98.5. Some of those segways knock me out. But, I'm NOT just sayin'.

Still basically the same playlist with more 60s, and I only hear it driving in Fresno, not at home and that 98.5 is coming in very clear in OTC this afternoon, must be very close, and notice the mix of 60s and 70s ,at one point they were simulcasting KFCF 88.1.
 
The County Radio Shop is located inside the park. The UHF police radio channels turn the ducks and other birds wild and mad as a radio DJ from the 1960's. A lot of old "Boss Radio" DJ's live in the park. They spend all day feeding the animals and climbing the trees.
 
I noticed that KYAF-LP 99.7 has had dead air the last 3 days.
