VIBE Vegas 94.5 KVBE Transmitter

My surprise is that someone could walk down the strip with headphones on and not get harassed or robbed. ;-)

I was listening to the radio and checking mail on my phone in front of one of the casinos several wars back and someone tried to take my phone..

No one wants to even steal a portable HD radio. The Strip is pretty safe in the day. You only get harassed these days by the people giving out escort service flyers, they won't leave anyone alone and will practically force the flyers into everyone's hand or bag, they even give them to small children.

..seems liek old news but after a search online came up with this:
http://www.allaccess.com/net-news/archive/story/60855/fcc-fields-several-station-transfers
AURORA MEDIA, LLC is transferring Dance KVBE (94.5 THE VIBE)/MOAPA-LAS VEGAS to LKCM RADIO NEVADA, LP for repayment of loans made by LKCM under an agreement made in 2005. AURORA (52%) and LKCM RADIO GROUP, LP are limited partners and LKCM CAPITAL GROUP is the general partner of the transferee. The transfer falls within the five year period after grant of the station's permit under FCC Auction No. 37, meaning that the deal is subject to the Unjust Enrichment rule and may require a partial repayment of the bidding credit received by AURORA in the original auction.

Seems like Aurora Media (whoever they are) no longer owns KVBE as is stated in the Ratings?
