Good move, if it is true.
I can't get ESPN east of exit 65 and I like that station. Lets hope if it is true that ESPN adds some local flavor to the broadcast, LIR currently has stonybrook football, would like to see them keep that
 
Not really sure why WLIR (or Stony Brook University) have the Seawolves football games on WLIR, when the campus radio station, WUSB, pretty much airs all of them already, on a better signal than WLIR's.
 
WUSB is a non comm station and cannot air the commercial sponsors for the game. If you listen, usb does cover some games as well as LIR, but LIR's broadcast has tons of commercial mentions and spots.
