A video news release or “VNR” is a fake mews segment created by a “PR” firm and provided to television and radio stations. VNRs are video versions of press releases in the form of news to hustle what ever from botox injections to what I saw on the CBS 3 news tonight, wine extract pills that the news actor clamed where good for preventing cancer to living longer. VNRs are packaged to fit rite in to the 6 o’clock news and to look just like a locally produced segment. Slickly woven in with other stores and pitched by the new actor the public is nun the wiser. TV and radio stations are paid hefty amounts of money to run VNRs as new.

Be that as it may, but isn't it a TV, not radio, topic? (And isn't the public "none" the wiser, as opposed to a "nun?" :) )

Now Imhomerjay lets not nit pick over bad spelling and grammar. And as far as this being a radio group and not TV my point you attention to page 5 and the subject WKBS-TV.

"my point you direction" ????????

What does that statement mean?

Oh I am sorry that I did not make my self clear. See I was only an engineer in broadcasting un-like you and your 30 years behind the mic I had to attend electronics school for 3 years work as a TV repair man at the same time attending electrical engineering classes at Temple university and pass a very rigorous test by the FCC to get a federal license to work in radio and television. After all that education there was very little room left in my brain for spelling and grammar. ;D
