Agreed. It's not your receiver. I've found the quality to be just OK (they must use some type of dynamic bandwidth allocation as some channels can get better or worse over the course of a day). I hear a LOT of hiss in both my receivers in both home and car kits. Strangely the online stream doesn't have anywhere near the noise of the satellite feed.

I love the content on XM don't get me wrong, but the quality isn't always there IMHO
