This then brings up an obvious interesting question.....
If there is this huge audience for WABC's Saturday Night Oldies Show and if they are having no trouble selling spots at high rates, then why is there not a fulltime 50s and 60s music station in New York or anywhere, for that matter, with the exception of WZZN, Chicago? This leads me to believe that the spots aren't going for that much or are ROS. Let's not rehash the demographics arguments again.
You're right, let's not rehash the demo argument because you lost that argument badly and looked foolish, since you have no access to the actual ratings and had no facts on your side.
You sound like Dick Cheney. You started a war and every time it's proven your reason was false, you just switch to a different reason. First you claimed there were no ratings. Anyone can look at the Arbitron books and see that you are dead wrong. Many of us did just that.
So, you switch to the argument that there must be no sponsors, because they let sports pre-empt it. That turns out to be an entirely invalid argument, because WABC's most successful shows like Levin and Hannity are also pre-empted by the same sports, so t's no reflection on SNO.
Each time you get caught in a lie, you just make up another ridiculous claim. Like when you came back and said there weren't many spots. But, we can all rattle off a long list of spots on the show.
You now come back with the desperate and stupid claim that they are not really sponsoiring SNO and are probably just ROS. But, that is immediately proven false because many of them pay a lot extra for a billboard saying "this portion of Saturday Night Oldies is brought to you by...".
Again, you are sounding totally desperate now, each new claim sounding more ridiculous then the one before it.
