I read in a Times-Picayune interview a couple of years ago that T. Ben donates all of his radio income to charity. Why would he quit over a few dollars? There is clearly more to the story.
Must have been an interesting article since T-Ben had been off the radio for years "a couple of years ago" when Coccyx read the alleged article. Coccyx is yet another poster [EDIT], thinking anybody in radio is donating their earnings to charity.
There are people onthis board who are not fans of radio. Quite the contrary, they want radio to flail and ultimately fail. No one with any lnowledge of radio gets off on hearing Mikey play all the wrong cuts.
Clear Channel doesn't look so bad when compared with small time a-holes like Mikey or Ed Muniz or Dr. Howes or any other cheapskate owner. At least jocks are paid and get benefits. It's not perfect but working for Mikey is not preferable!
