Walrus 105.7-English speaking permit?

Either way, 105.7 has been in English for years, either with oldies/classic hits or sports.

Why are they making such a big deal about getting an English-speaking permit? Was there some doubt they'd receive a renewal?

Perhaps they were concerned that the change in administration might cause issues at the licensee level.

Art Laboe retired 5 years ago they just keep running re-runs from the 70's LOL. I wish Magic would dump Laboe and do more of Xavier the X man's Sunday night oldies show!!

Scott, Art Laboe is very much in charge doing a show on Magic that is fresh -- new stuff. I met him last year with Shotgun up in la LA ... what a treat. He continues to work the magic across California and beyond.

That's true. I forgot that they were splitting the cluster up. I think that was supposed to happen last week or sometime this week from the secretary told me when I picked up a prize late last month.
