Without doing further research, I was under the impression that LPFM 100 watt licenses were all gone. The next auction, if it ever happens, would be for 10 watt LPFM licenses. When did this change?
And yes, I am looking at RDP's project from a purely business point of view. I only offer advice because I want him to have fun with this "hobby" without spending more money than he could reasonably afford to invest or loose. For that reason I strongly believe you need to make a couple of strong, trustworthy, professional radio contacts in the central Alabama area to discuss engineering and legal issues with. You will need help as you move along and I'm not convinced that the kind folks you've met via this board will be reliable enough.
