NIGHT TRAIN said:It does seem so odd just having those 2 as the only ones left on the air....I do miss it myself.
frankfortradio said:That station is slowly dying. The last trends were the worst in a long time. Corporate radio sucks. The downward spiral started when they let Night Train Lane go in November of `06, then Gator Glass this past September, and now the latest is Jill Laurens a week ago this past Friday. Word has it that Bobby Jack and Coyote will be only live bodies.

BobOnTheJob said:WAMZ was a superb sounding station in the early part of the decade...it's sad what they are doing. I read a theory on here once which, sadly, makes sense. If you can cut your expenses by $500,000 while only cutting your revenue by $475,000, it's a "good business decision". The station will sound mediocre, but the bottom line looks better. That'll work for a little while...until the listeners decide that terrestrial radio really does suck. Then it's too late...once somebody buys a 3 year sub to XM, they're gone.
