As best I remember, at one point in the 60's, WARM had the highest ratings, per capita, of any station in the country in the 60's. Though I was gone from the area in the 70's, my understanding was that Disco damned near killed the place but going back to it's roots brought it back-in our last full book before the switch to talk, we were still pulling a high 8 12+, but were skewing a bit high in the 25-54, as the audience was aging. The bottom fell out when they had the brillient idea that Jim Mcnulty and Frank Andrews were the saviors as they would bring the age of our listeners down (???????). Corbett was there too until he was bounced for attacking the rich in Clark Summit. Harry still had decent morning ratings as nothing changed much during mornings, but from then on was total disaster.
