Wait a minute here! E-town college hardly has a format. When I was there in 2001, Professor Yoder told me they had a "progressive format". Phooey! I was the morning show monday-friday, I modeled my show after what FM97 was doing. then on friday evening, I ran a metal show harder than that "hard-drive" show that 105.7 runs. All this with the blessing of Yoder and his college student PD.
Every song I played came unapproved from my own collection. In my morning show I played all kinds of CHR / top 40 spanning multiple years. and friday nights after basketball from 9pm-12a I played Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Sevendust, Anthrax, some Kiss, Iron Maiden, The Deftones. I wove in some comedy bits too.
My point is I was given the control and everyone loved it. E-town College has no real concrete format.
