How did this thread come back to life after first being published in 2006? Weird. Anyway, I checked their site and I don't see this jock you seem to be talking about. Is he still there?
 
I hardly ever tune to BAB or WBAB; but that's just a music thing.
I've heard those tunes they play waaaaay too many times.
However, if I was a listener, I doubt a missing or mis-pronounced letter would discourage me from tuning in.

Heck, Liz Cho on the WABC-Channel 7 news flies through the word "Eyewitness".
I still watch.
