I toted my new Sony component “HD” tuner to east-central Indiana this past holiday - to within 40 miles of 700 WLW's B-Knox - next door to the Flaming Head Irish Pub in Mason, OH... WHAT AN INSULT TO THE AUDIO ART—OH, I guess I need to add “quotes” to that phrase [I can't find any art whatsoever in this AM IBOC science fair project]. If such is “salvation” for the AM band—IT’S OVER, my friends! ...Give me my analog back - even in full 5k splendor, PLEASE! Actually got the coveted “HD lock” – but wished I didn’t... I’ve heard 24k MP3 streams on the net from college frat houses that sound better than "The Big One" did in "HD"!

On your Telco circuits, that's not idling voltage. It's "battery." It's not a remote, it's "NEMO." And I know Clouseau enjoys listening to all his old vinyl. You're not using a phono cartridge, it's a "pickup." Now, back to my morning shift on Ancient Modulation....
