WCER Signing off?

Good Karma should buy it (probably for practically nothing) as a simulcast fill-in for WKNR down there. Especially at night. Even tho 900 is flea power at night, it does pretty good (low dial 900) in Canton proper. WKNR's 850 dies completely down there at night.

Got a call that the station is telling what few clients they have, today is the last day.

I wonder if despite turning off the station, they'll keep it at High power after sunset, just one more time.

No idea.

From the looks of it (and by virtue of no news on the matter whatsoever) WCER looks to be on the air to stay. Seems like Melodynamic had a total change of heart late into their supposed 'last day' of March 31.

I don't know if the station is even on the market, or if anyone was/is interested in buying it. For now, it's status quo.

At least the handful of people who take Alex Jones seriously (oof) are happy to hear this.

From what I hear there are at least 3 interested parties - the question is whether it is seriously on the market.....or at least for a serious price. My guess is that Jack Ambrozic is still asking upwards of half a million dollars and that it will probably stay status quo for as long as he's alive.

It's been seriously on the market for many years. And the asking price is well below half that. Still not even close to being worth it.
