WCKG-1530, WBIG-1280 and two Chicago area FM translators for sale

The thing to remember is that that highly directional array for W244BQ is not much more than a beefed up FM receiving beam antenna. They would have to increase the input and or "redesign" the antenna or reorient it to change the pattern. I think a surveyor has to be there for the orientation on the DJT tower.

There are also many Class B AMs that have directional antennas that take up quite a bit of land. I don't want to give anybody ideas though. Some that have shut down in smaller markets have sites that sit vacant for years.
