Do you think the fact that 100.3 is no longer an Urban AC station is the reason why WDAS is doing so well
They shuffled off the 103.9 signal in a swap, but who knows what they're thinking. It looked like they might have a winner with Classix, but ratings have plateaued. With notably few exceptions, Urban One's run here in Philly has been rocky to say the least. For many years, I have been expecting them to hang "For Sale" signs and get outta dodge.
It'll be 17 years this month since Y100 died. And (holy crap) 25 since WDRE was flipped.Wish it would switch back to Philadelphia Radio Alternative Y100. I cried when the station went dead air almost 23 years ago. I got my first tattoo from Preston Marilyn & Steve show when it was at Y100
17 years. It was 2005. Damn, time flies. It'll be 17 years this month since Y100 died. And (holy crap) 25 since WDRE was flipped.
