WDBY Kicks 105.5

Does anyone care to venture a guess whether Townsquare will make significant changes to this Danbury area country station after they acquire it soon from Cumulus?
I would think they may possibly replace the evening and overnight shows, which are syndicated by Cumulus.

what scares me is I could see a flip/swap of 105.5 and I-95 happening I-95 hits the shoreline well when I-95 Relay is on in Norwalk. I just turn on my iPhone these days and listen to 96.3 KBAZ the Blaze from Montana on the radio pup app since radio is so horrible around here. what in ___! name is WCCC playing nowadays anyways?

WCCC is straight up classic rock now. They're even branding themselves as ROCK 106.9 Hartford's Classic Rock.

According to the trades, the deal involving the sale of WDBY and the other Cumulus Danbury area stations to Townsquare has closed. As numerous other stations in various parts of the country are also involved, I would think it would take a while for them to make any significant changes.
The WDBY and WRKI websites still look the same as usual. On air, the Cumulus "Powered by Nash" TOH ID has been changed to, "A Taste of Country station."
With regard to my original question, it does appear that the evening show CMT Live with Cody Alan, which is syndicated from Cumulus, will be replaced. According to the website of sister Townsquare country station WYRK, "Taste of Country Nights... (is) heard Monday through Friday on Townsquare Media stations nationwide from 7 p.m. to midnight." The host is Jeremy Robinson.

I just hold that WRCN is gone crap... :/ another rocker bites the dust. If you need me i'll be listening to online radio with local active rocker jocks from Radio stations in Montana. I wish we had that kind of radio here. They are live New Music have great features during their show like WCCC used to have 10-15 years ago. Keep rocking for those still left out there.

As of yesterday, over in Poughkeepsie, WKXP/WZAD's "The Wolf" got a new ownership after taking over from Cumulus, it is Townsquare now. And the voiceover was heard right before the TOH as mentioned that it doesn't say "Powered by Nash", but it never says "A Taste of Country Station" as of yet. And last night on "The Wolf", they carried "CMT Radio Live with Cody Allen", "Kickin' It With Kicks" and "American Country Countdown" are all part of Cumulus networks, and it's going to change. "The Wolf" will now running "A Taste of Country Nights" every Monday through Friday and jockless in the overnights. No word on what the schedule for weekends will be.

Will have more on that on the Hudson Valley board.

They will probably go to the "radio pup" app which is what I use for their kick ass rock stations in other parts of the country since we all know If your a rocker like me there is no rock in these parts. Also, my apologies on my horrible grammar with my last post. Anyway to edit it? Been getting better at proofreading before I post but still have some work to do on my "English" lol.

So WCCC is classic rock. So is WPLR and WAQY. And WHCN is classic hits. How many classic rock stations does that area need?

Actually WHCN is Variety Hits, not Classic Hits. And those 3 stations are in 3 different markets. WCCC in the Hartford Market, WPLR in the New Haven Market, and WAQY in the Springfield Market.

According to some posts, WDBY's "Kicks 105.5" is still carrying "CMT Radio Live" with Cody Allen every weeknight, not the "Taste of Country Nights". Along with the "American Country Countdown" and "Kickin' It With Kicks". No changes are made at the moment, but it still carries iHeartRadio and it is still under Cumulus according to station websites.
