WDFH 90.3 Ossining Sold to WNYC

The FCC has already approved WNYC's applications to buy WDFH (to rebroadcast WQXR), and to boost its power from 53 to 250 watts.
That did not take long.

MUCH more directional, though.
FCC map indicates they will have about 7db more signal to the north/northeast only.

WQXR has taken over WDFH this afternoon, following the closing of the sale. The WDFH website confirms they are no longer on the air.
The WQXR site states that the new WQXW will receive a power boost from about 50 to 250 watts in the fall.

Which is exactly the direction that they need the coverage boost. 106.3 in Mt. Kisco would have been a better buy, but that's not for sale (yet).
