ATTENTION DAN ALLEN

Don't know where else to post this, and I know Dan monitors this site, so here goes;

Been listening to Real Oldies on Iheart and just love the station. My question is; how large is your playlist that you have in rotation? What I've heard seems to be from mid 1950's into the mid 1970's. Would you be willing to share that information? Thanks

I've heard the iHeart version of RealOldies, it sounds great, I assume when it's on terrestrial it;s te same log and voice tracks with commercial breaks inserted.

Look at the new program schedule, as an Economics major, I would be shocked if they are making money, meaning, they will not be around much longer.

Tons of mismanagement at 'DJO. Yes, I know about Imus, also.

His morning show is now ranked a whopping eighteenth overall in the competitive New York City market, hardly enough to justify his megadeal with financially- struggling Citadel - ABC Radio. In the 25-54 demo, he's in twentieth place.

'DJO must be really desperate to have Imus. From what I have seen over the years, his ratings are awful. They seem to be grab bagging, that to me, means they are very desperate. I love oldies, but, I am not blind. Why do you think it is that Steve Overbeck sued 'DJO??? Yes, you will always have unhappy employees and I am sure there were people at 'DJO that did not like Steve, as what happens when people work together. Having worked in law, when an former employee sues, and the employer loses, that generally means that there is a serious problem with management, somewhere. Yes, I have worked in management and in a Union. Generally, it is very difficult to win suits against employers. Most court judgements are reduced on appeal, think about the Lady and the coffee at McDonalds, the judgement was reduced on appeal to $400,000.00. After winning a suit against an employer, the employer or corporation will offer tons of money to the plantiff, if the plantiff refuses, the employer or corporation will tie it up in court for years. Face it, most people do not have the financial resources to wait that long for their money. Have liked many people in management, yet, many in management are arrogant. Making claims are easy, proving them is a totally different ballgame. If you are curious, I have never met Steve Overbeck, so do not even go there.
