WDRL-tv is on the air again?

The station has new (to it, at least) call letters. As of December 1, it's now WEFC. These call letters were on Roanoke's channel 38 prior to the PAX era when it became (and is still known as) WPXR.
WEFC-TV (wdrl) has been silent since 12/31/11, sounds like there lost their time brokerage agreement with Living Faith Ministries?

Looks like the new prospective owners of WEFC (ex-WDRL) are taking a minimum of equipment from the current operation. Check out the listing here . . . http://www.jessemeeks.com

Just looking over what's up for sale, most of it is analog studio and transmitter equipment, not very useful for a broadcaster in the digital age. There are satellite receivers for sale, and dishes of some sort.

I did notice one interesting piece of digital transmitter equipment...a 250-watt "Pineapple" transmitter, fixed-tuned to Channel 41, but no evidence of either an exciter or encoder, both of which would be necessary to put TV programming on the air.

I might show up out there just to see if those items might be mis-labeled.

Later . . . .

Wefc-tv has resumed operation as of 5-24-12 using its exciter at very low power, a new transmiter is being installed and tested, it will resume its regular licensed operation status as quickly as possible?
I am only 8 miles away from smith mountain and i can not receive it, my Tv is trying to get it but to no avai.l

The FCC has approved the sale of WEFC-TV to Jones Broadcasting of Virginia on 3/12.

Got it in this morning and saw nothing but a blank screen. The other data is there though.

As of yesterday a about 6.pm ,WEFC-TV was back on full power with programing from CVN mostly alternative Christian videos. The picture is very clear with great graphics background, not sure as to what else is up their sleeve for programing?

... am I the only one seeing WEFC running on channel 25 now?

Well here we go again, WEFC-tv has been silent for three months now and on their third extension of their consumation agreement with CVN television, Gregg Jones owner of CVN is now trying to purchase WEDD-TV in Roanoke channel 26 a low power station that is now broadcasting CVN and on Cox and charter cable systems in the Roanoke area. So that leaves WEFC-TV in the dark again. They should have left Mel the station as they are now paying for this action that they did to WDRL-TV...
