The corporate owners of WEEI can change their name to Audacy all they want, but, to me, they'll always be Entercom, and in the words of some people's favorite, Howie Carr, "Entercom happens." This should be all you need to know. Why did WEEI cut out of a tied NFC Divisional playoff game Saturday night to go to CBS Sports Radio? Unforgivable!

I believe this was on WEEI-FM, which does have some ratings, though they’re not great.Audacy had the number one rated station in Boston by playing Christmas music in the recent ratings period. WEEI AM has no listeners. Doesn’t show up at all in the 12 and up ratings. A well run company does not spend any resources where there are no customers.
If you're going to argue radio with someone of my intellect, you'll have to do far better than disingenuously citing one (largely-ignored) monthly for one station in a cluster of five.Audacy had the number one rated station in Boston by playing Christmas music in the recent ratings period. Can't we all just get along?
