WELE 1380 Daytona Beach (Ormond Beach)

Good for the both you Tillery and Manning. They didn't know what they had in the two of you as a team to get WELE out of the toilet, so WELE would have the moniker or be referred to as 'that travel show' station. It's really too bad. Maybe the two of you can get together on some other endeavor in the Daytona market because it sure could use it. The talents of both of you gentleman from the successes in your combined years in AM and FM radio in Central Florida are too much to waste. I hope some station wakes up. JMO ;D
 
Who in the world is doing the daily programming of this radio station? The morning talk show had Wilhite's son co-hosting. All he was able to offer were inane responses such as, "Really?", "Is that so?", etc. They took Imus out of the morning slot and stuck him in in the middle of the day. By the time they do his reruns most of what he is talking about is old news. Commercials are thrown in right in the middle of sentences. Now they have taken Imus off of the Tuesday and Thursday time slot and turned the show over to a bunch of immature guys who sound like Larry, Darryl and Darryl.
 
Yes, it's a shame they run this station like they do and have been doing for years. Most LP's are run better. Tillery and Manning had it going in the right direction in the beginning of this year with the additions they made, but weren't given full run of the station as they should have been. Good thing they left before Wilhite's situation.
I don't even know if they are back to full 5K. They had a problem for a while with the transmitter and were only pushing 1K and didn't have the money at the end of June to pay for the part. I hope someone buys WELE, changes the calls, and does it right.
