Ency... hey I posted a correction Liberty/Benchmark ownership of 103.7 FM. The time frame was correct. There may have been a hint of a possible buyout...with no deal. All I could remember was the name Benchmark. As for "B" letting Bill go... YES, I was with Bill, when he told me... "THEY LET HIM GO". The reverberations are still being felt to this day... so much so, Hell, they tried but failed to carboncopy the man in the change over from B103 to Mix 103.7FM. Even taking away the slogan "Most Music Morning". Cox has copyrights on it. As for Bill, I see him practically everyday of the week, and I have the utmost respect for him. I was bouncing back in forth from TV to radio/or both, when Bill almost hired me at B103. That was the day they let him go. Another Dj I felt was done wrong was Hank Matthews... and you've had your wings clipped a few times M.N.! Another one on me. I too, tried getting on at WHAP low and behold... (and the good Lord must be trying to tell me something) not long after the interview with the man. Bruce Cannon commits suicide. Later <P ID="signature">______________
