Loose 102/Good morning shows
First, Rob and Rob being a great morning show? Come on. Savage in the Morning was a great show on FMF when Rob was the producer, though. Loose 102 was the bright idea of a former GM of FMF. In the 1970's, when FM radio was somewhat new, 102 was called Loose 102 for a time. It was an AOR format, actually. Anyway, "this" guy thought it a good idea to use that moniker in order to reposition the station in 1996....it was believed it had gotten too urban. He removed all the urban stuff, but just after the launch of the new station, corporate came to town and made them add the urban back into the playlist. I never understood why they thought a female demo would be cool with a station called "LOOSE 102" or why in god's name they would drop heritage call letters. Lucky for them, Greg Herpin did not snatch them up..although he thought about it. As far as a great morning show on FMF...like most who are from here, I grew up with Randy Rice and Jim Nasium. Looking back, I know they were corny as hell, but what did we know then?

Jim/Danny is a wonderful person and I really hope is doing ok with the MS he was diagnosed with years ago....terrible things happen to the best people it seems.
