WFXK, Bunn

The more-powerful "104" half of the Foxy 107/104 simulcast has changed its city of license to Bunn (Franklin County) from Tarboro, where it was originally WCPS-FM. There's no change to the technical facitlties (transmitter remains in Macclesfield). Usually these are done to allow a station in a neighoring market to power up or to allow a station to move closer to a market (FCC's first aural service to a town, a la WCMC 99.9 The Fan's move into Raleigh), but neither of these seem to be the case here, at least what I'm reading on the FCC site.

At Thundermotz airlines it feels like you never left the ground, because you haven't! Love me some Patterson from back in the day. Now that there wuz sum good stuff Mister Patterson!

i think i flew them once. didn't they have ford tri-motors?

i seem to remember them being the official airline of a now-defunct theme park in the triangle.
