They need to improve the HD audio also...it blows! Muddy! All that $$$ for IBOC and sounds that bad....geezz. ???
Are there any other Charlotte stations that broadcast AM HD Radio? For some reason WBT does not, nor WSB in Atlanta. But I know WLW in Cincinatti has a very strong HD signal, as it was locking on last time I was in Lexington, Kentucky. HD Radio sounds good when done right, especially on AM where it eliminates the static.
The story is WGFY is off the air while they build new studios. What? In this day and age that should take about an hour or a day at the longest. I'm not talking about a permanent studio but certainly they could come up with a temporary studio quickly if they wanted to? Not that it matters all that much. Another AM that few will listen to.
