WGRR and The Fox

Ooops, I mis-read on R&R, it was WMMX that Supertalk beat. Not that it matters, my previous statement about its potential is still valid.

It's also worth noting that there isn't a music format on that signal that has ever done well. It's too far away from the metro area. Supertalk is in mono, no pilot, and can really get out because of that.
 
I'll side with Wylly. Talk radio has a large mobile audience...combine the distance factor with the lack of a stereo pilot & you've probably found the best fit for that signal. I'm still dissapointed that 94.9 didn't go head to head with B -105. That would have been a good battle...
 
94.9 was not a sister station to WUBE until fall of last year. The Star was simulcasting on 94.9 after the demise of Mojo for a period of time before the property was traded to Entercom.
