Has anybody thought about WGST becoming the Official Georgia Tech station again? They could even move their transmitter back to CHeshire Bridge Road again to cover North Atlanta. Maybe they could even move back to 920 AM.
Maybe while they're moving the transmitter to Cheshire Bridge, they could move the offices and studios there too.
From what i understand, there are a few "establishments" on that street that would be appealing to some people who work at WGST..they could go on their lunch breaks. Just a thought.
HEY! I live on Cheshire Bridge Rd and I don't want those ilk near me!
By the way, those towers cause all kinds of RF problems in phones, TVs, etc. When we first moved there in 2000 it took the phone company six months to get the RF off of our phone lines. It took the fire alarm company over a year. I still cannot get DSL from AT&T because of 1190 AM going to full power two hours after sunrise... ADSL bandwidth starts at 1000 khz.
