WGST needs to put David Paul in its line up

That's right. I have thought about their problem and I figure David Paul is the answer. I have pondered this problem and yes, David Paul is the answer. Wow, the problem is solved. WGST will be back on top again. You are welcome WGST.

Well David was hired to run off WSB's elderly listeners so the station could go younger and make more money from advertisers. Maybe WGST should start from scratch by running off listeners and bringing other listerners back.

Please don't start this David Paul thing AGAIN. It's been beat to death. At this point it does not matter what they do anyway. As I mentioned in another thread AM Radio is a dying medium anyway.

Your solution to the problem at GST is genius. Sometimes the best solution is the simplest. David Paul? Why couldn't I have come up with that? Some people just have a gift. GST will be a competitor again. Thank you Bo. Randall Bloomquist's problems are over. I have emailed him your solution ([email protected]) and given you credit. Are you a programmer? Were you a child prodigy? Thank you for saving GST.

I love the way we post on this board. One person makes a comment and is railroaded all the way! Comon guys can't we just all get along? The WGST issue is beat beyond death. This station will never be able to compete due to its poor signal, lets just face it. WSB has the winning hand. Signal, great hosts,Its plain and simple, WGST is dying a death that no one wants to admit. :(

WGST is damaged but not dead. The reason it’s a “permatopic” on this board is the fact that the damage was an inside job. As for this thread, David Paul would probably be a good move.

Didn't David Paul try to get on the air several months ago and basically crashed? I remember he kind of choked. Does anyone else agree? I am all for second chances, but it looks like it did not work. What can fix WGST? They need someone who is off the wall. Air America may work, but what about a show that is local and one that talks about issues? What made WGST work in the past? Great news gathering. Good reporters. Good line up - Sean Hanity, Rush, and Kim when they were discussing topics. Get the listener's involved in the the converstion. It should be about talk and not the personallity. When you involve your listerners, you get loyalty. What a concept? Think about it.

Amen.

GST gave him a shot on a weekend last year and soon after his shift started he said "I just can do this" and walked away from a live mic. I thought it was a bit until the Regular Guys talked about it on their show. They had him as a guest a couple times and he was the usual David Paul.

I heard him on the regular guys. I love that show. That is the only time I ever heard David Paul. The regular guys seem to like him but they could not control him. He seemed to take over the show. I don't know if a host likes that. I wouldn't.

Would GST give him another chance? Who knows, but the more you think about it, the more it makes sense. David Paul could put up good numbers against Boortz. Not better than Boortz, but better than Denny. When Neal goes off on one of his rants that listeners have heard a thousand times before, a wacky David Paul topic with outraged callers would be welcome relief.Yes, Bo you are correct. You start on Monday – You can have Randall’s office.

You David Paul people are NUTS! Besides, it will NEVER Happen so can we move on to another topic please.
God You know this is the truth. Please lets all let WGST rest in peace. Geez what else can we say about this horrid station. No signal, No signal, No signal.. No real audience to speak of, Please lets end this nonsense rambling about a station that is over .

Oh, ye of little faith…All GST needs is good management and a few changes to be a strong competitor during daylight hours. Answer this - Would David Paul post better numbers than Denny?

[Answer this - Would David Paul post better numbers than Denny? There's no doubt, any change would be a good one! But were talking about a radio station that is owned by a corporation that is a cookie cutter producer of radio stations. WGST,will not do any better until sold to someone else. Cheap Channel does not get it, you cannont do what theyv'e done and expect to succeed. (I am hoping one day this threadends.. unless a miracle happens and a signal boost were to occur then its just what it is.poor signal and a waste of any programmers time.) :'(

Answer this - Would David Paul post better numbers than Denny? Well, tough question. There is nothing sincere about Denny at all. David Paul is a strange guy with a strange outlook on life. I remember a show he did that asked, Are you secure with your manhood? He challenged the men in the audience to put some of their wife's clothing on and to give him a call. It was strange but very funny and listenable. I think going against Boortz or Peterson with this kind of radio would definitely find an audience and a relief from war, war, and more war. Tax, tax and more tax. So, to answer your question. Yes, without a doubt, David Paul would post better numbers than Denny.

Ru Paul would post better numbers than Denny. But would Ru or David kickback 20% of their gross pay to Mike Wheeler?
