Putting (almost) anything on WGST at night is essentially spiking it, for the reason I mentioned above. See Dr. Laura--when Premiere/CC wrested her away from WSB (and ratings that rivaled Rush and Boortz, despite being opposite Rush IIRC), she was a miserable failure on WGST during PM drive and into the night.KDM 7000 said:I find it rather fascinating that Ramsey would be placed at 3-6PM.
Is it just me, or does this show seem more like a night time or weekend show?
Anyway, that's just my opinion. Not really my cup of day time tea.
Hopefully WGST will do more local talk shows, and hopefully some hosts will deliver the variety talk style rather than just multiple hosts doing constant, overplayed political and controversial news stories all day.
I wonder who all listens to Kook To Kook AM on WGST. It seems like it would be easier to pick it up on a clear channel Clear Channel station than WGST.
I'd love to see WGST bring back Ralph from Ben Hill, or someone like him. He was always a nice contrast to Boortz and Rush, even if you didn't agree with him, and his show was entertaining. And he was a good fit for WGST's low night power, as he had strong appeal to ITP audiences.
