WGTN/WPIF new owners

From Inside radio:

Myrtle Beach, SC – Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute’s Good News Network has filed a $150,000 deal to buy classic country WGTN (1400) and oldies WPIF (1470) from Tim Thomas Broadcasting. The deal also includes the Georgetown, SC-licensed translator W298CO at 107.5 that simulcasts WGTN. And the Georgetown, SC-licensed translator W266DG at 101.1 FM that simulcasts WPIF. Religious broadcaster Good News Network owns 29 stations in the Southeast, but these are its first signals in the Myrtle Beach market. Thomas exits ownership once the sale closes.

You must link to any source as this exceeds fair use copy/pasting...

Also not sure why they would report this now as this was filed back in August and there was a second deal filed concurrently to purchase 93.7 WPGI Georgetown for $125,000.
