What do listeners like about Sirius & what they do not like?

I like the channel formerly known as "The Bridge", but it is available only on the internet now, as Bruce Spingsteen and the Payolla E Street gang kidnapped it last year and continue to hold it for ransom!!! It is also the channel I no longer like, for the above reason!! 9 months is just too long!!!

sirius just is going to play more E Street Radio... i think for another year! UGH!

check this out.... ABBA RADIO... coming soon... playing the band's music 24/7, takes over Ch. 3 for two weeks starting Monday. Debuting in conjunction with the release of MAMMA MIA! The Movie - based on the music of ABBA - the channel will feature ABBA's hits along with tracks from the film soundtrack and the original cast recording of the hit stage musical MAMMA MIA!. You'll also hear interviews with ABBA members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus as well MAMMA MIA! The Movie stars Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan and some of ABBA's celebrity fans, including Dionne Warwick, Alanis Morissette and Joan Rivers.

I have enjoyed the ABBA channel all this week. From listening to other songs beside Dancing Queen i've come to find more songs I love from them.

I like the variety of music but I don't like the repetitiveness of the music and the automation. Since there isn't a live DJ sitting there, the same song can literally play withing 10 minutes when the channel breaks from rotation and goes into a countdown show or specialty show. I hear this a lot.
I also don't like that the radio completely cuts out when going under bridges. I never realized just how many bridges / overpasses there are by me... :-\

My PERSONAL favorites:

1) Totally 70's on 7 - a GREAT mix of stuff - much of it I haven't heard since the 70's itself (and then i don't even remember like HALF of it - was too busy roller skating seven days a week!) :) (I heard Kiki Dee's "I've Got the Music in Me" the other day - like totally WOW!! ;))

2) Soultown 53 on, duh, 53 - WOW, EVERYTHING on the R&B/soul side from, like, the Staple Singers to Barry White!! It's a stone groove right on the satellite!!

3) Martha Stewart Radio on 112 - NOT as boring as one would think - VERY entertaining; and I like Alexis and Jennifer and their "Whatever" show - you never know what those two are gonna get into!!

4) 60's Vibrations on 6 - Bringing back the beats that kept the teenagers dancing in the 60's and are keeping me dancing even TODAY!!

5) 50's Gold on 5 - GREAT doowops, AND the BEST 50's music!!

I'm ok with the channel that showcases an artist or group for a couple of weeks at a time. Then move on to someone else so there is always something new to hear.

I have been a Sirius subscriber since January of 2006. My favorite formats are Channel 4(movin easy) and channel 12 (the Bridge which
they recently brought back) I enjoy Howard, but even more so have recently gotten hooked on Jay Thomas on Sirius Stars.
I also enjoy hearing cousin Brucie on Ch. 6.and the seventies countdown show with Dave Heffell every weekend.
its the best $12.95 I spend each month!
