Assuming that W292DJ is running on their CP of 250W @ 381ft. then it's probably that with a fuzzy signal. Otherwise probably alternating WSRB/Lansing, IL and WYRB/Genoa, IL both weak signals.

With very good tropo, I think WKLA Ludington, MI may make it there.

99.7 in Baldwin, in my experience, is Sturgeon Bay on top of Midland (Ironwood would only make it if (1) WZDR is off and insane tropo to the northwest or (2) both WZDR and WUGN are off). In Irons, 15 miles northwest of Baldwin, Sturgeon Bay was dominant and listenable at most times.
And the translator on 99.7 is in Port Washington

I have a good question, have you ever received WAYV, WFPG, or any Jersey Shore FM's in South Carolina, during tropo? I know Myrtle Beach FM's are known to reach New Jersey during tropo

I think this would be CBU-FM-1 if anything. Btw, what's 96.9 in Othello? Here are a few more of my own, though I have a feeling I know what these might be. 93.7 in Sioux Falls, SD and 104.7 in Wall, SD.

No chance here. 95.1 and 96.9 are two of our most powerful signals. I've gotten the Outer Banks, and I think I've gotten Hampton Roads here, but DX is much better to our south in Charleston. We get stations as far S as West Palm Beach, maybe a Miami once in a while.

104.7 in Wall, SD: K284BA Rapid City mostly, with KNDR Mandan, ND, KKLS Sioux Falls, KTRS Casper, WY, and KNNG Sterling, CO all making it in at times (the four latter signals are all 100kW or equivalent)

Hmm that's not what I would have thought for either of those. Well actually K284BA makes sense as Rapid City is about 60 miles away, but didn't think a translator would make it out that far, I would have expected KKLS to be a little more dominant, but I guess Sioux Falls is about 240 miles away still. For 93.7, I would have thought WDAY-FM would make it in at least sometimes.

If anything, WKLT Kalkaska, MI. WHDG would have made it up here before they moved to 97.3 to make room for WTAQ (they probably still make it on 97.3). WTAQ, KNXR and KDKK may make it in once in a while. Speaking of 97.5, there would probably be enough room up there for a decent powered station if not for 97.7 in Houghton, 40 miles away.

It has plenty of signal over Houghton and not much more population it could service with a power upgrade, even if it could get one.

A quick look at the allocations says that it probably could make just such a move (give or take any Canadian allocations that aren't immediately apparent to me.) The question is, why bother? It has plenty of signal over Houghton and not much more population it could service with a power upgrade, even if it could get one.

Houghton is so small that there is a vacant allocation on 96.3 for a 100kW station (C1), but that one can't move much south due to a C2 on 96.3 (WSFQ) in Marinette/Menominee. WOLV could actually get closer to Marquette by staying on 97.7, upgrading to a C0, and broadcast from Mt. Arvon (the highest point in Michigan; which is about equidistant from Marquette and Houghton/Hancock).

A whole lot of things could be done with allocations in the UP. For example, I came up with one which involved deleting a silent station (WMXG 106.3) and upgrading an existing one to C1 (WHTO 106.7 -> 106.5), which would also move WGLM (106.3 -> 93.5) and allow WKLA (106.3) to upgrade to Class C2.

Just because WMXG is silent doesn't mean the allocation goes away. Even if they surrender the license, it just puts the vacant allocation back out to auction.
