WPAZ is probably what small, community oriented radio stations should be like! I for one like their innovative and eclectic music offerings!wcradio2 said:Al, sad to say, WCHE is no longer playing that music either.
I now concentrate on mostly local artists, but it's only for 1 hour a week. If you're interested, my little show is on WPAZ and WCHE. It's called Up Close And Acoustic. More of an in depth performance/interview show.
I really did like Skin Radio over the air at WHAT. I'm always saying I'm a dinosaur, but I like 'radio' and to me that's over the air. And while WHAT's signal wasn't great away from the city, I'd suffer through the static as I was driving.
Soon I'm sure, 'over the air' won't mean much, but it still means a lot to me.
So, again, good work on Skin. I do miss hearing it in the car.

WPAZ should consider itself similar to an LPFM, though without the advantage of being an FM - it's mission is reportedly to superserve its local audience. Wouldn't the best way to do this be to program a format that doesn't deter the intended audience?rackit said:I listened to WPAZ. I'm sorry there is nothing special about the station.
