What Exactly is Star doing?

I know it's not a big deal, but I'm just responding to an earlier post about Don Bleu being the only live shift at STAR. Well, I'm live every Saturday from 10a-3p at Star. BTW...this is Celeste Perry. I know it's just my little 5 hours a week...a far cry from my gig at KFRC but I'm really there. Take care everybody! ::)

Yeeps. Sorry, Mrs. K.

(Quick, DJ! Spin this one!)

Errrr ... I meant (thinking, thinking) that Don Bleu is the only person over six-foot-two working a live shift not from Hawaii on Star 101.3.

That's great - I'll be listening on Saturday. Celeste is a great reason to listen to Star 101.3. The other reasons are...um...er...let me think...

WOW! There is some good news out there. CC has Celeste Perry on Saturdays!!! Maybe they will see the light on make it a daily shift for her, now that would be GREAT news.

Celeste, in one shift at Star on Saturday, more people have heard you then your entire brief time on 106 KFRC

Wow...thanks for all the support. I really appreciate it! ;) I'm just doing the best I can in these very tough times. I'm also doing a little TV work at KOFY...a dog adoption show called KOFY Companions(excuse my wee bit of self promotion). Love the comment from Domino Rippy about the cume of STAR vs KFRC! Very Funny and true, but I do believe if we at KFRC had been given half a chance --meaning no baseball, a little marketing and some more "oldies"...we would've been a viable station. Thanks again, and I'll play some"Pink" for you all this Saturday!!!! 8)

Wow, Celeste - then you must know Pali from Rocket Dog Rescue in Bernal Heights. - a good person (if somewhat single-minded) and a great organization. We adopted a huge but sweet old black lab from Rocket a few years ago.

I don't know this organization, but will, soon enough. Thanks for the tip! We are slowly building the show and raising awareness about dog adoption.
Sorry, this is a radio board, I'll stop talking TV. :-\

Yes, Celeste Perry is LIVE and ALIVE on Star. She should be on the station full time, but wait, it's CC, perhaps 5 Hours is considered Full Time. She is the only thing worth listening to on weekend music radio. Maybe someday, someone in charge will look up from their spreadsheet and do somthing for the listeners.
Wait...Never Mind. ;)

"Why do we need all these people? WAIT! Why do we need people at all?"

(The question every Radio Company CEO is asking these days)
