What Format is Lubbock Most in Need of?

Obviously the answer is we don't know. IMO you don't. Not in a top 10 station in such a huge market. Don't forget the #7 rated (This month, #5 last) Jack FM is only # in the 6+ birds eye view we have. If they're pulling such big numbers overall, we can logically conclude that they're doing better than that in certain demos. Advertisers aren't generally looking for 6+ numbers to determine their buy.

YOU are the one that brought up how much they were making without REALLY KNOWING anything, so yes you are correct...we- "You Don't Know" i also wasn't the one who touted a #5 12+ ranking, my point was if YOU want to talk ranking, NOW THEY ARE #7!
i don't give a damn WHAT they are or do, but cbs does and its their call, maybe someday jack will sink lower and they will pull the plug, and when and if it happens they will see the error of duplicating roughly the same demographics and move on to something else, time will tell, it always does. until then end of discussion. :-\

You have used selective logic, or just missed the point of EVERY post in this topic. You seem to be so sure they're duplicating demos with KLUV without a look at the demos. So the reality is YOU don't know. My point from the beginning was a top 5 or 10 station in a market the size of Dallas is likely making millions of dollars a year and dropping a format would make no sense when it is doing well.

If you were the executive for CBS and you pulled a top 10 station out of market like Dallas your career as a decision maker wouldn't last long.
