What format would 'YSP switch to?

Just Spike..I think he would sound great on an active rock format ...he does seem out of place on the horrid station YSP has become...I think its hillarious they position themselves as the "rock you grew up listening to" since no Philly station, Including YSP touched hair band metal ...yea maybe a Bon Jovi, Def Leppard here and there..but never ever Poison Motley Crue WArrent ect....I grew up having to listen to WYSP and WMMR(my bosses at my teen age job only played these two staions at work) play hardly anything current throughout the 80s and early 90s and now they position themselves like they played that music when they were stuck on the Who Yes and David Boeie...what a joke

I have been saying it for years, when every market in the country was playing hair metal and hard rock the Philly market was safe and sound. You never heard Danzig, Crue, Cinderella, Y&T, Warrant, LA Guns, Enuf z nuff, Poison, Warrant, Kix, Dokken, White Lion, Wasp, only the occasional Kiss with the tired cut, Rock and Roll all night, never, Beth or Hardluck Woman, and a host of many other bands. Now YSP is claiming to be what I grew up with, no way, how much Led, Rush, Floyd can one take. Break out the great bands of the 80's. If they wanted to go even deeper they could play punk bands, and not just the Clash and Ramones, bring on the Dolls, Pistols, Echo and more, so much music so little programming knowledge.
