The STL situation has taught us one thing:
If you work in radio, have the delay on!
Anyone working now should just accept the delay as part of the gig. I let something slip once at a station, and seeing "no delay" was crushing.
If he'd just have let it go...he might still be employed, but he brought SO much attention to the gaffe, that something had to be done.
Firing him was an overreaction. Suspension for a few days with an apology was more than fair.
