What is going on with the RATINGS in Lubbock?

Does Nielsen even cover Lubbock's radio market? I didn't see it on their website among the 51 small radio markets they do cover.

And Nielsen does diaries too. Doesn't seem to be much of an improvement over Arbitron's methods. Only thing Nielsen seems to have going for it is that it might be cheaper than Arbitron. That's Why CC and Cumulus jumped ship to Nielsen.

We all know why they renewed, becuz it is the only game in town. Whether you like it or not. Thats how it goes. Once again though, local advertisers don't give a crap about arbitron, they don't. It's the national accounts that want the numbers. I've seen it and heard way to many times from the sales staff and beyond.

However, you got to think about though, ARBITRON is such a scam. I wish I was apart of that. Getting paid millions of dollars for doing pretty much nothing. You got to love it.

Ha, that's nothing Crow! This statistics companies love to price gouge! You should see how much SPSS charges for data software in Academia! Why? Because they know that nobody else sells anything as good, and they also know how much people rely on "data." I wish I remembered the two formulas that I learned when I took my marketing and poll sampling class back in 2001, I could make a mint!!!!!!
