What is that on 1410?

[quote from N1WVQ]
I can only find the rule about what JIBGUY says. This was one of the latest editions of 47CFR. Where can I find the new contour lists?

I've gotten my info from reading dozens of AM apps. Don't know where to find the authoritative list, but the fact that the FCC approved WCRN's app for 50 kW-D years and years ago and 50 kW-N much more recently, and approved 1570's app for 50 kW-D just months ago, should remove almost all of the doubt. FWIW, here's what I've got: 10 kHz: 0.025 mV/m with 0.5 (both inbound and outbound), 20 kHz: 5 mV/m with 5 mV/m (both ways), 30 kHz: 25 mV/m with 25 mV/m (both ways). 40 kHz or more: no limits either way. AFAIK, when 20 kHz was changed, the only other limit that was changed was 10 kHz, which used to be 0.5 mV/m both inbound and outbound. 10 kHz was a tightening of the limits; the 20 kHz limits were, in effect, loosened. Sems to me, someone here is bound to have the reference to the proper paragraph in Part 73.

BTW, where the limits were tightened, no station was forced to change its operation; the overlaps that existed were simply grandfathered. I think the rule is that when a grandfathered station changes its facilites, it must reduce (though not necessarily eliminate) existing grandfathered overlap.
