The nursing home spots would always play before the funeral home spots.
That’s what I was thinking. Sort of natural succession spots. Plus can’t forget the graveyards. I worked at a small station that had a handful of graveyards advertising.

I hope the graveyard spots were dead last in the stopset! That’s what I was thinking. Sort of natural succession spots. Plus can’t forget the graveyards. I worked at a small station that had a handful of graveyards advertising.
Funeral homes and nursing homes? /j

yep was listening to 1580 the other night and it was still cranking out the Classic Rock.I see that are advertising Oldies 1580...but it still is primarily a simulcast of 93X & 95X with the exception of Saturday afternoon - Sunday evening.
They were smart when they used the "Ohio's Best Rock" moniker. They didn't consider themselves a classic rock only station, which gave them the freedom to add new music that they felt fit the station, and allowed them to attract younger listeners. QFM was owned by a different company back then.I notice that QFM96 changed their moniker from Iconic Rock to Classic Rock a few months back. I doubt that move is related to anything Delmar's doing, but I guess it's possible. QFM definitely dips into the 90's. Of course they're one of the many heritage mainstream album rock station that that segued into playing primarily Classic Rock, so it makes sense for them.
Ha good oneI hope the graveyard spots were dead last in the stopset!
