What now for 93.9?

They're running promos that say the day after Christmas...1070 will be airing classic sporting event play by play until January when they go to ESPN

Well if WWFT's Sister talk Station flipped to 96 Rock in Cincinnati. I Think we just stumbled on the new format for 93.9. Say hello to a duel war against X103 and Q95 as we might have 94 Rock on our hands. Im Surprise Cumulus went ESPN with the WQKC movin in Louisville

Yet another rock station in Indy and on 93.9? It won't sell. That audience is spread too thin already.

If Cumulus wants 93.9 to be successful they'll put a contemporary Christian music format on it. The format worked on Love 98 from 1980 to 2003 when the station was sold to Radio Disney. In practical terms, does a company stick with a format for over 22 years if it's losing money? That was the motivation for the ownership. For those of us who worked there the motivation was something else.

a format with dollars are important to Cumulus... CCM = $$$$ ?

I would think a decision or announcement would be coming
soon from them....maybe next week?

Standing by...

Seems like they are playing a lot of "Christian" artist singing Christmas songs...hmmm
The Song returns?? or are they just pulling out the loaded Christmas format drive and playing
away....pretty easy considering the already had it...and probably already have The Song loaded
and ready...actually it's on HD2 - but who's listening to that?

A very large, very sharp axe swings later this morning.

Many heads at Cumulus will roll.

Could Little Bird have been one of them that rolled??????

Chris Wheat is turning 57 Sunday...Happy Birthday Chris! and Merry Christmas
Indy...the new format is ......... !!
