What should Fisher do with KVI?

Ok, since everyone has been posting rediculous visions of what they want KVI to be, here's mine, all airchecks, all the time! Airchecks provided by formatchange.com, tophour.com, aircheckdownloads.com, and the other two sites that are linked at the top of formatchange.com. Oh, and disguise the legal id into the format by just pulling up one of the old KVI ids from tophour.

Maybe a totally fresh start as "AM 570, The Radio Station" and build it using listener suggestions.......

Today, it's all up to the corporate bigshots to make changes. Unfortunately, their creative ability is limited to yes men, numbers & shareholders. Probably many have never sat behind a microphone or never had the creative mind to know what creative means. Probably many are too young to understand Seattle radio when creative talent was the mainstay for strong ratings. We need to get back to the basics with strong local talent with good pay. The corporate knotheads need to review what kaye/Smith did for KJR and what Golden West Broadcasters did for the old KVI. Maybe, just maybe, there could be some fun left in Seattle radio.

right you are, reply #62. many of us here have pondered that line of thought for years. but, even if you got back to basics, and lined up that strong local talent(w/good pay), how many distracted/ADD'd listeners would tune in 2012? radio got bad, many left, and found they can live with out it, and aint returning. many pre age 30 listeners are not that educated anymore, as to what is good radio programming, and good radio talent. as for me, i would prob check out live talent on oldies KMCQ, or a new AAA, album rock, or country format with on air talent, who knows the music, and has freedom to mix it up some, and has the talk talent to talk beyond card liners and slogans. XM/SR seems to do radio a hell of a lot better. i have zero reasons to head to greener pastures on seattle AM or FM. cause them pastures are all brown, boy!
