What to do with WBEN's FM

It is tough to listen to 107.7 in Buffalo due to the signal is so poor HD goes in & out and the audio is out of sync. I listen to WBEN on 102.5 WTSS HD-2. I think they should remove the IBOC combiner and turn HD off on 107.7, that would make the signal stronger. Move "The Lake" to 102.5 HD-2 where we could actually listen to it. Also, is anyone else getting tired of the promo "WBEN just got a whole lot louder....now on 107.7..."??? It has been playing for almost a year now.

I think after over 6 years, KB is still using "a new voice, a new choice". Stale doesn't even describe it.

And I wish HD would just vanish into the darkness as yet another tech geek fascination that the rest of the population couldn't give a you-know-what about.

I don't know if it's just me, but has WBEN's signal been rolled off in the bass region (maybe 120 Hz and below)? My memory serves as remembering it to be more fuller sounding in the lows, up until last decade.

It's not just you Jody, WBEN does sound thin and has for years. I notice it every time I come to town. The Toronto stations blow away the Buffalo stations in terms of audio quality. Didn't used to be that way but it is now, big time.
